In sports news, the Detroit Lions completed the first-ever 0-16 season in NFL history. Why not be proud, Detroit fans? It’s history! Celebrate it:
Parade: Be sure to include the Big Three CEOs rolling down the streets of Detroit. End with a Congressional hearing into the Detroit Lions’ front-office practices.
White House: Time’s a-wasting, so get the team to the White House before President Bush’s term ends. Don’t forget to bring a Detroit Lions “16″ jersey for the President as a gift.
Beverages: Take the Mercury Morris example and pop Champagne corks when the final NFL team wins a game next season. Or maybe it should be Champale instead. Or maybe pop open some Champagne if the Lions do win a game next year.

Great post! Loved it even more because of your mention of Champale!
